All gasoline engines require ignition of the fuel mixture compressed within them to generate the energy needed to power a vehicle. Pulstar Pulse Plugs may look similar to spark plugs on the outside, but inside the technological advances of Pulstar are evident. Pulstar pulse plugs feature a unique built-in capacitor-based circuit that captures energy normally wasted by spark plugs. This energy is released in an amazingly powerful and quick (two nanosecond) high-energy pulse, which generates a spark with 20,000 times greater energy than any spark plug.
