Product Review

NGK Multi-Ground Spark Plug is manufactured to deliver excellent fuel ignition and throttle response. It is constructed from durable material that is corrosion and abrasion resistant. This spark plug includes multi-ground electrodes which improves ignition capabilities and are less sensitive to increased voltage requirement. It features corrugated ribs, pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for greater strength and better heat transfer, copper core and triple interior seal. This spark plug can be installed easily.

NGK Iridium plugs are the first thing I add to any new (or used) bike, I buy. As usual, they smooth the idle and enhance throttle response. On the first bike, the plug also slightly increased the fuel efficiency. I never kept the original plug of another bike long enough to verify that though.

For some reason NGK's reference guide shows the CR7E as the only available sparkplug for the AN400 engine series by Suzuki. But, the CR7EIX also works, and I recommend it more than the CR7E (although both are good quality, since they're NGK). I only use NGK. These things last almost forever (or at least a god 10k+ miles on a bike, which is almost like forever depending on your riding habits). Another irony, NGK's site doesn't seem to want to sell CR7EIX's...I had to go to a third-party to buy them. If you're using one in your bike, I recommend checking it at 5000 miles after replacement, and as a precaution just replacing after 10,000 miles. Also, make sure you get the right "hotness". Former owner of my bike used a CR8EIX, and it fired colder, which made the bike stall out when using 87 octane fuel. The user manual said the bike should use 87 octane, so I kept wondering what was up. I replaced the spark plug after 10k miles on it with a 7-series, and low and behold it runs...Read more

Read a lot about spark plugs and did a lot of research....

This spark plug is the absolute best you can get for a scooter.

Quick starts. Smooth ride. More pull while going uphills.

Won't have to ever change or check my plug again probably for the life of the scoot....love that.

Perfect for the Yamahas Vino 125.....all years.

It does cost a lot more money than the stock plugs that come with, but I highly recommend switching them out. You will definitely notice a difference in every area of riding.
