This review is from: NGK (6458) PFR6Q Laser Platinum Spark Plug, Pack of 1 (Automotive) These are a great plug, that I got lots of miles on, even in what I would consider to be extreme conditions.
I bought 6 of these to replace the plugs in my 2001 Audi S4. I had been running a AWE Tuning Stage III tune (K04 Turbos, green top injectors, upgraded MAF housing, and a stage III chip) At the time I had the car out in the desert of southern california, which is just about the worst environment you could imagine for a performance car. 91 octane at best, with 15% ethanol, 100+ degree temps, sand, and no moisture. This review is from: NGK (6458) PFR6Q Laser Platinum Spark Plug, Pack of 1 (Automotive) FIrst off I own a 2003 Audi a6 2.7T with 183,000 miles STRONG... I had the egine light on for MISFIRING IN ALLLLL CYLINDERS, HORRRIBLE GASS MILEAGE and a coolant temp sensor code as well.. AFTER I had gotten my timing belt and both gasket seals changed for 1,300$ and im like, Ok wtf did I just pay all this money for, which is not bad I had that work done at an Independent Porsche mechanic in Stoughton, MA compared to Audi's 2500$ it was pcket change.. (in a sense) lol... But I bought these spark plugs from Amazon, my first purchase from them ever becuase they have them listed for the lowest price on the net at 10.32 pluss free shipping, and comparing that to 15$ ++ for 1 spark plug at Audi or anywhere else.. THe NGK Platinum Spark Plugs are OEM direct replacements that Audi uses so I went for it. Changing the spark plugs not only increased my MPG after but as well idled the engine a heck of alot better after..... I really appreciate these plugs, and you may even get a little extra...Read more |
