These NGK Iridium Spark Plugs (5992) are an exact replacement for the plugs installed in my MINI from the factory. Amazon had the best price and service was the usual quick and easy. Plugs installed without a hitch and restored my fuel economy to new car levels. Thanks Amazon for stocking these parts and offering them at a good price.

I bought these for my 2007 R56 Cooper S and despite being listed as plugs for the JCW, these are what was in my car from the factory. Its a great deal as a set of four from MINI will run you about $90. For installation you'll need a 12 point 14mm spark plug socket such as Assenmacher Specialty Tools SP1412 14mm, 12-Point Thin Walled Spark Plug Socket, or you can use any 12 point deep well 14mm socket to loosen and a telescoping magnet to extract the old ones. When installing the new plugs make sure to torque them down to 14.5 ft/lbs.

I bought these as factory replacements for my 2008 MINI Cooper S (R56). I am also running the JCW tuning kit and these plugs are the exact match offered by the factory. The difference is Amazon has them for half the price. Perfect fit!
