Smoother around town and quicker startup compared to copper plugs at 30k. Not sure how much improvement in the real world (eg, vs. new copper plugs) but the extended service interval that iridiums offer make it worth it for cost alone. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: NGK (4904) ILFR6T-11 Laser Iridium Spark Plug, Pack of 1 (Automotive) I just bought six for my 2005 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6. No limit was encountered - a strange notion to start with. Although we have not experienced any significant improvement, 47,000 miles on odometer, the long service interval alone is worth the price. Also, three of the six plugs are found in not-so-easy to reach locations; here is the link one may able to utilize:[...]. Do it yourself, save money, and thank Amazon! 1 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: NGK (4904) ILFR6T-11 Laser Iridium Spark Plug, Pack of 1 (Automotive) The spark plugs made a very noticable improvement in the way my 2006 Tacoma ran. They also increased fuel mileage by 4/10 MPG, not much, but when gas is $3.50 per gallon every little bit helps. (5 stars for the plugs themselves) The problem is Amazon has a maximum quantity of 5 pieces per customer! This makes it impossible to complete a tune-up on a vehicle with 6 or 8 cylinders... After three separate e-mails to correct, they stuck by their "contact the manufacturer directly" reply. In the past I have had great sucess with Amazon resolving issues-NOT THIS TIME.(0 stars for Amazon) I had to buy the remaining plugs locally.. Buy these spark plugs, just not through Amazon. |
