Denso Iridium power spark plugs help your vehicle achieve unparalleled performance. It alters the belief that a mere spark plug can add power and mileage. This is done by combining an ultra-fine 0.4mm diameter Iridium center electrode with a tapered cut U-groove ground electrode. Iridium conducts electricity better than platinum, however what makes it exceptional is it's also 6x harder and 8x stronger than platinum. Because of this, the center electrode can be machined down to 0.4mm. This ultra-fine iridium center electrode provides superior ignition performance during acceleration and top cruising RPM. The U-groove ground electrode creates a larger, brighter flame kernel. The tip of the ground electrode has been tapered which further improves firing performance by reducing quenching. All of these features combine to give more horsepower to your motor.
This review is from: Denso (5349) ITL16 Iridium Spark Plug, Pack of 1 (Automotive)
Did an extensive amount of research on the Denso iridium plug. Needless to say I was excited to take reception and install on my '06 Dodge Magnum.
Now, for sake of context I have always leaned toward higher end--$$7 to $8 individual plugs--and electronics, from the module out to the chip to all the myriad O2 sensors. But when my Amazon order arrived I was shorted a plug. Terrific. If they're not doubling up your order they short you. (My third such experience. Let me ask you: who orders two of the same Sub-Humans or Aphex Twins LPs?)
As a result I can't convey any kind of discernible feedback. Nor have I had the time to track down another single Denso iridium. Anyone have something to add/offer about the plugs, or pisspoor businesses on Amazon I'm all ears.
