Product Description
If you're looking for the very latest in spark plug technology, look no further than Bosch Platinum Ir Fusion. Fusion features a patented, fused iridium and platinum center electrode, combined with exclusive surface air gap firing technology to produce a longer, more powerful spark. Its four yttrium-enhanced ground electrode design outperforms OE iridium plugs by significantly reducing gap wear. This means less stress on the ignition system for quicker starts, more efficient fuel combustion, and a longer performance life. In addition, Fusion's voltage requirement increases less over time versus other iridium plugs for longer reliable performance of the vehicle's ignition system.

These are supposed to be Bosch IR Fusion spark plugs - thank goodness I KNEW what they were supposed to look like and did NOT install these on my car. They indeed were packaged in a box that had the IR Fusion plug pictured on it, but inside was an old Bosch platinum plug that in reality could have harmed my car. I called Bosch directly and found that the plugs that were inside the glued box were Bosch single electrode Platinum plugs last manufactured in 2005! And they were too long for my car an may have caused damage had I installed them. Someone had crudely pushed down the gap on these plugs - I guess with the hope that they might work in the intended application.
I contacted Amazon about this and they offered to pay for shipment back and refund my purchase price - but customer service could NOT place a replacement order for me. Since these were ordered through Amazon - how could I be sure that I would be having them sourced through a different distributor? - So I...Read more

I bought these plugs for my 2007 Sonata 4 cylinder. What the other reviewer said is only partially right about the cost. Amazon's listed 'original' price is a bit absurd. However, the sale price is better than any other place online or in store. The rebate applies to all new purchases including Amazon. At the current price after rebate, they cost me about 15 bucks total. My old plugs were not too bad; but I still feel better acceleration (very slight) and slightly better mpg. I can get about 30mpg mixed versus the old 28-29mpg mixed. I have yet to do a full highway tank yet (with traffic... that's rare) but I used to get 34.... wonder if I can break 35 now. Overall great plugs for my car. At $15 total... it'll pay for itself in no time in mpg savings.
