I installed these in my Sierra 5.3 and my truck performs better then new, I bought a extra set for my next tune up, that way I know they are still available. Way more conductive then iridium, even more then copper!

I was originally concerned with using silver cored spark plugs. In my mind, I thought they would melt in no time. However, the heat seems to be dissipated so quickly that the silver indeed remains solid. When I first put them in, and turned over the ignition, the car started IMMEDIATElY and ran extremely smooth. I've never had a spark plug perform that well upon the first start. I don't know much about how long these plugs last. I have an 02 Camaro that I drive mostly just around town, infrequently on highways. From what I've learned, silver will not erode like copper. Copper plugs erode extremely quickly. So I figure, these plugs may not last as long as iridium or that platinum crap, but will definitely perform better.

I've used many types of performance plugs over the years, all touting the best coating. Platinum, Iridium etc. The silver tips are most definitely the most effective and efficient. While performance is noticeably increased the best factor is the increased mileage. One of the best things about Accels' plugs is that you can gap them as needed comapared to some brands that are pre-gapped. Overall, even compared to other silver tipped plugs, Accel are the best I've used. Just ask the guys in my rearview mirror.
