8 New NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs TR5IX # 7397

First time using Iridium plugs and I read you are not suppose to gap them because they can break. I checked all 8 and they were gapped perfectly. Installed with new wires and the job on my 2000 Silverado 1500 took no time at all. Best price on the internet that I could find. Was glad I made the purchase.

I love NGK plugs because I have experienced great results in my Hondas, but they don't seem to work well in my Chevrolet 2500HD. I replaced the wires (MSD) and the plugs at the same time and had hesitation issues immediately. I decided to drive with them in to see if the behavior changed any. The other day the engine light came on with a misfire code. I put in the GM recommended AC/delco iridium plugs and the truck runs like a dream.
I thought it was BS that the spark plugs wouldn't actually work well if they were for the correct vehicle. It's true.
Nothing against NGK, they just didn't work well in my Chevy.
